Assessing farm records-keeping behavior among small-scale pineapple farmers in the Nsawam Adoagyiri municipality, Ghana

This paper seeks to bring more clarity the phenomenon of farm records keeping among small-scale pineapple farmers in Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipality Eastern Region Ghana. Specifically, it measure motivation behind keeping, nature kept, benefits derived from activity and how demographic socio-economic characteristics influence practice. Using a multi-stage random selection procedure, 120 selected 25 growing communities were interviewed using structured interview schedules. The study showed that was common with at least six (6) records. chi-square test depended on educational level, years experience farming size. Besides, informed primarily by desire make productivity projections promote effective agribusiness management. makes strong case for sustained communication, education awareness creation practice engender good outcomes.
